Discount pricing

Discount your payments instead

of surcharging.

Surcharges are out, so flip them around. Build the card fee into your price, then give customers money off when they pay by PayID, PayTo or direct debit. Card payers pay the listed price. Everyone else pays less and you keep the same profit.

A surcharge adds the card fee on top for people who pay by card. Discount pricing turns that around: the card fee is already in your price, and people who pay a cheaper way get money off. Same result for you, but your customers see a saving, not a penalty.

FAQ
Discount pricing, answered

Discount pricing means building the cost of card payments into your price and giving customers a discount when they pay a lower-cost way, such as PayID, PayTo or direct debit. It is the reverse of a surcharge: nobody pays more than your listed price.

What is discount pricing?

Instead of adding a surcharge when someone pays by card, you set a price that already covers the card fee and give a discount to customers who pay by PayID, PayTo or direct debit. On Pay Advantage you choose the discount, from 0% to 10%, and it is applied automatically at checkout.
